This hummus wrap recipe, like most hummus wrap recipes, is vegan. Not only is this recipe tasty and vegan, it is also quick and easy to make.

This recipe was super simple and we only needed our manual food processor for a kitchen appliance.
The manual food processor helped with dicing the tomatoes. But honestly you could just use a paring knife too.
We are just in love with our manual food processor so we use it whenever we have the chance.
The stainless steel pot was used to make the quinoa and the paring knife was used for the avocado and any other vegetable prep.
What Else Can I Use Hummus For?
You can use Hummus for all sorts of things. Here is a short list below.

How Do You Make a Wrap Not Soggy
In order to make your hummus wrap less soggy, you should consider the following.
Do I have something in my hummus wrap that can absorb moisture? For this best hummus wrap recipe we used quinoa which helped with moisture control.
Any grain will help with moisture control in your hummus wrap so definitely plan to have that be a part of whatever wrap you make.
The next tip I would suggest is to make your own hummus from scratch.
This strategy will help you control the thickness and creaminess of your hummus. So try to make your hummus a little thicker by adding less oil or not using tahini.
Our last tip would be to take out any excess moisture.
For example. If you like using tomatoes, then take out the seeds and the inside parts of a tomato. That way you only have the meat and skin of the tomato in your wrap.

How Many Calories are in a Hummus Wrap?
For our best hummus wrap recipe we calculated the best we could to see how many calories are in our hummus wrap. This is what we found.
- Hummus = 400 Calories
- Tortilla = 300 Calories
- Avocados = 234 Calories
- Quinoa = 222 Calories
- Pine Nuts = 220 Calories
- Tomato = 15 Calories
- Scallion = 5 Calories
- Basil = 1 Calorie
- Micro greens = 1-2 Calories
Our total came out to 1,398 calories. Pretty sure our math came out right. If not lets just round up to a nice number like 1,400 calories.
So if you want to take out calories then look to take out the pine nuts.
I wouldn’t take out the Avocado because they have so many great health benefits.

Can I Make a Wrap the Night Before?
I will say the answer is yes. All of these ingredients are able to stay good until eating them the next day.

How Long Can a Wrap Stay in the Fridge?
We just found a really cool website that looks to be all about if things go bad in the fridge.
For hummus, it has a really helpful chart that explains how long hummus is good to eat for when you store it in the fridge.
It also breaks it down by store bought and homemade hummus like our best hummus wrap recipe.
It says that homemade hummus can last for 4-5 days in the fridge.
Store bought hummus lasts for almost 7 days once open due to the preservatives added.
So since there is nothing else in the wrap that we are concerned about going bad, this wrap could be meal prepped on a Sunday night and still be good to eat for a Thursday lunch.
That sounds pretty good to me 🙂
Best Hummus Wrap Recipe
- Stainless Steel Cookware, Paring Knife
- 1 Large Tortilla
- 1 Cup Hummus
- 1 Cup Quinoa cooked
- 1/2 Avocado
- 1/4 Cup Pine Nuts Toasted
- 1 Scallion diced
- 1/2 Tomato diced
- 5-8 Basil leaves
- Microgreens **Optional**
- Start by cooking your Quinoa. Do this by adding 1 Cup Quinoa and 1 ½ Cups of water to a pan and bring the mixture to a boil. Once at a boil. Lower the temperature to a simmer and cover the pot until all of the water has evaporated and the Quinoa is fluffy.
- While the Quinoa is cooking. Prep all of your vegetables either by dicing, slicing or toasting them. This way, once your Quinoa is done cooking, you will have everything else ready to make your hummus wrap.
- Once the Quinoa and the vegetables are prepped, it is time to construct your wrap. It is a very easy process. Make sure to add your hummus first and spread it evenly over your tortilla. Then add the rest of your ingredients evenly over the hummus. Lastly, wrap your tortilla and cut it in half and it is that simple! Enjoy your hummus wrap!
